For world pvp or 5v5's, I often respec based on how I think the battle will play out, since it only costs a few silver to reset 2 points. Stealth is incredibly useful for certain situations, but in 1v1 it's uses are limited - good players will be able to catch you off guard when you are in stealth, especially since you kick up dust clouds with nearly every step in the Arena. One thing I'm sure most people have noticed by now is that I don't take stealth. This allows me the extra damage from the Sorc passive, as well as Augment witchcraft, which is the most important passive in Witchcraft. Now, no more wasted time.Īs you can see, I go 11/2/10, Sorcery/Shadowplay/Witchcraft. If I like a point you make, or you point out an error in something I say, I will edit my post. If you find something you disagree with, or something I forgot and you would like me to address or mention, please highlight the statement and add your opinion or observation in the comments.
#Archeage 3.0 shadowblade vs dark runner how to
I will be going over everything I can think of, that I do personally, includingĪnd will have an individual section on the most popular classes you can expect to find in daily 1v1's, and how to play against them. Realize that everything here is specific to me - my build will reflect my playstyle, as well as my gear choices, and there *are* absolutely other ways to play daggerspells. I don't consider myself the best daggerspell, but I am certainly knowledgeable and skilled enough so others can learn from me, so I will do my best to write a basic guide for players looking to learn a few tricks. Many of you know me, especially if you 1v1 or 5v5 a lot.

I am a Daggerspell on Enla, East and in Sanctuary. Me being a newcomer stuff like this is gold, and if lucky there's probably something in there for you more seasoned players aswell, daggerspell or notįirst of all, introductions. Instead against a Stonearrows you need to play as if is a tank because they use REDOUBT, you can try to use LEECH before your enemy.I came across this daggerspell PvP guide, and i thought it made for some interesting reading. ) you need to stay close, fortunately you've a really great mobility, so this is not a problem for you, also if your enemy is a primeval. ) FRENZY is your friend, just you need to dodge BANSHEE WAIL then run around the enemy and knock it down.Īgainst Archers(Primeval, Stone arrow. ) is little bit complicated, her REDOUBT will make you useless for 20 seconds, in this time you need to take advantage of your mobility by running away, or just hiding youself with STEALTH skill.you can also try LEECH for earn few seconds.Īgainst Mages(Daggerspell, Arcanist, Witchcraft. In this build i dont have added STALKER'S MARK, but it will be usefull for reduce healing force.Īgainst Tanks(like Blighter, Abolisher. ) you need to attack as much as possible, and be careful when he cast heal skills and try to interrupt it with knock down, you can also use LEECH for interrupt her casts. Īgainst other Darkrunner is just a parry and shackle challenge, just try to interrupts her main skills and be careful about her skills cooldown.Īgainst Healers(Argent, Paladin, Templar. You need to try to stay always in range of your jump skills like CHARGE and SHADOW STEP and remember to dont waste your best buffs like FREERUNNER, FRENZY and BATTLE FOCUS.

In the arenas Darkrunner preserve its great force, it burst damage and its mobility make it one of the best and feared class in 1 vs 1.
